Mekos ("we", "us", "our") is an executive advisory firm. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and protect personal information you provide when interacting with our website at mekos.info and our services.
1. Information we collect
When you submit a strategy session request through our contact form, we collect: name, work email, company name, role/title, area of interest, the message you write, the language you used to browse, and the timestamp of submission. We do not collect payment information through the website.
We may also collect minimal technical information (IP address, browser user-agent) for security purposes such as preventing abuse of admin endpoints and rate-limiting.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your strategy session request and follow up.
- To send you, on request, additional information about our services.
- To analyse demand by language and service area, in aggregate.
- To protect the security and integrity of our systems.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your personal data to train machine-learning models. We do not share your data with third-party advertisers.
3. Email service provider
We may use a transactional email provider (e.g. Resend) to forward your request to our team mailbox. Such providers process your data only on our behalf and under standard data-processing terms.
4. Data retention
We retain contact-form submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to manage the commercial relationship and comply with applicable bookkeeping obligations. You may request deletion at any time at the address below.
5. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the EU GDPR and the Italian and Spanish data-protection regimes), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port and restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to contact@mekos.info.
6. Cookies
Our public marketing site uses only the minimum required local-storage entries (such as your preferred language). We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies on the public site without your consent.
7. International transfers
Mekos operates internationally between Italy, Spain and remote engagements worldwide. When personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards.
8. Security
We protect your data with reasonable technical and organisational measures, including TLS in transit, restricted admin access secured by strong passwords and short-lived bearer tokens, and rate-limited login.
